Giving back to our communities is not just something we want to talk about - it’s something we want to make a part of the Secure Code Warrior culture. We believe strongly that working together makes us stronger. That is why we are committed to finding ways to make a difference in the many places we work around the world.
The stereotype of the software developer as a loner in a hoodie isn’t true...at all! Developers love to get together, share ideas and knowledge, and we love getting involved.
Secure Code Warrior has developed a free mobile app so early-career developers can learn secure coding on the go. Learn more here and swipe your way towards being a more secure coder.
Our team lives and works in many communities around the world, and every quarter we take some time to give back, build connections and make an impact. We participate in activities like team-oriented projects, volunteering time and providing resources. Our team also has access to two paid volunteer days per year to give back to charity and non-profit causes close to their heart.
Secure Code Warrior is also a proud member of Pledge 1%, a global movement that inspires, educates, and empowers every entrepreneur, company, and employee to be a force for good.

The #GivingTuesdayNow event kicked off globally on May 5, 2020, to connect with communities around the world that are giving back. For the following Tuesdays in May, Warriors gave back, with a focus on giving thanks, giving local, giving what we could, and giving together. 41 team members logged over 1200 miles with the Charity Miles App, with those miles translating to monetary donations to the St Jude Children's Research Hospital, World Wildlife Fund, Alzheimer's Association, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, American Lung Association, UNICEF, Save the Children, She's The First, Every Mother Counts, Malala Fund, and more.
A double whammy this time. For every $ donated by our team members to a charity or not-for-profit of their choice, Secure Code Warrior matched that donation to the World Food Programme!
