BOSTON, SYDNEY, LONDON – 16 December 2021 – Global secure coding company Secure Code Warrior® today announced it has been inducted into the JPMorgan Chase & Co Hall of Innovation. The award recognizes emerging private companies who have had significant business impact and delivered innovative technology solutions to JPMorgan Chase. Secure Code Warrior was one of three companies recognized at JPMorgan Chase’s 2021 Technology Innovation Symposium.

The world runs on software. Secure Code Warrior’s flagship learning platform and contextual developer tools enable development teams to embrace security at the start of the software development lifecycle, eliminating common recurring vulnerabilities and stamping out poor coding patterns for good.

“Secure Code Warrior’s learning platform makes security both accessible and fun through a gamified, contextual learning approach,” said Pat Opet, Chief Information Security Officer at JPMorgan Chase. “Designed for engineers, the platform has helped to educate and empower our teams to secure their code while reinforcing our culture that security is everyone’s responsibility at JPMorgan Chase.”

“We are honored to be recognized by our long-standing customer, JPMorgan Chase, in this way. We built the business to address a very real problem when it comes to the security posture of an organization: a lack of emphasis on developer upskilling, so that they can be empowered to share the responsibility for security from the start of the software development lifecycle. We are delighted to continue supporting JPMorgan Chase in delivering high-quality, secure software to their customers and investors.”

This category has taken on new urgency in 2026 for a reason that’s specific to this moment: AI coding tools and agents are dramatically increasing how much code gets written and how often it needs to be deployed, tested, and provisioned for. Platform engineering is the layer that determines whether that increased velocity translates into shipped value or into chaos.
