マサチューセッツ州ボストンおよびシドニー – 2020年2月4日 -- RSA CONFERENCE 2020 -- セキュアコーディング企業であるSecure Code Warrior（SCW）は、共同創業者兼CEOのPieter DanhieuxとManicode Securityの創業者Jim Manicoが、2020年2月24日から28日までサンフランシスコで開催されるRSA Conference 2020において、ラーニングラボ「Unleash Your Inner Security Champion」の講師に選出されたことを発表しました。
RSA Conferenceのラーニングラボは、フルカンファレンスパスをお持ちの方を対象に、インタラクティブな演習やディスカッションを通じて深い学びを提供する体験型セッションです。今年のカンファレンスで実施される約20のラボは、参加人数を制限することで、講師と密接に関わりながらスキルを確実に習得できるよう設計されています。従来のトラックセッションとは異なり、DanhieuxとManicoは「ガイド役」として参加者をサポートし、コンテンツや演習をリードしながら、学んだ知識の実践と参加者同士の交流を促します。
「このコンペティション形式のラーニングラボは、非常に楽しいだけでなく、参加者が新しいスキルを習得し、セキュアコーディングにおける現実的な防御シミュレーションに挑戦できる場となります」とDanhieuxは述べています。「開発者がセキュリティ上の欠陥を混入させずにセキュアなコードを書く方法を学ぶことは、最終的に組織の第一線となる防御力を高めることにつながります。」
「Unleash Your Inner Security Champion」ラーニングラボでは、参加者が互いに競い合い、真の「Secure Code Warrior」の称号を目指す、実践的なゲーミフィケーション形式のトレーニング環境を提供します。参加者は、Java EE、Java Spring、C# MVC、C# WebForms、Ruby on Rails、Python Django、Node.jsなど、多様なプログラミング言語から選択してトーナメントに参加可能です。課題はOWASP Top 10 Webアプリケーション脆弱性に基づいており、実際のコードスニペットに含まれる脆弱性を特定・修正する作業を行います。また、ポイントを獲得してリーダーボードの順位を競い合い、最終的に最高得点者が「Secure Code Warrior」として表彰されます。
